Delilah Dawson, who also publishes under the name Lila Bowen, is the New York Times bestselling author of the Blud series, as well as a prolific writer of many other fantasy, young adult, Star Wars, and media tie-in books. Kevin Hearne is the author of the popular fantasy series The Iron Druid Chronicles, of which the ninth and final book, Scourged, released early last year. Together, these two authors have created the outrageously hilarious and irreverently fun Kingdom of Pell. Filled with puns, plays on old fantasy tropes, and witty banter, the Pell series appeals to fans of both Terry Pratchett and Monty Python. No Country for Old Gnomes, follow-up to Kill the Farm Boy, opens upon a violent conflict between the clean, cardigan-wearing gnomes and the hairy-footed violent halflings. After a firebomb destroys the childhood gnome-home of twin brothers Onni and Offi, forcing the pair to retreat and plot revenge, it begins the start of their adventure. A colorful cast of characters such as an adventurous halfling, a gryphon with peculiar appetites, a metal man, and a young ovitaur keep the laughs coming.
In conversation with Delilah and Kevin is fellow author Stephen Blackmoore. Stephen is the Los Angeles-based writer of the Eric Carter series of books, including noir/urban fantasy titles Dead Things, Broken Souls, and Hungry Ghosts.
