Simone St. James is an award-winning novelist, having received two RITA awards from Romance Writers of America and an Arthur Ellis Award from Crime Writers of Canada. Her stories including The Haunting of Maddy Clare, The Broken Girls, and Silence for the Dead. Before choosing to write full-time, Simone worked behind the scenes in television for twenty years. Her latest novel, The Sun Down Motel, is a chilling thriller set in an innocuous roadside motel; looks can be deceiving. Carly Kirk has always been obsessed with the story of her aunt Viv’s disappearance in 1982. The last place she was seen at was The Sun Down Motel, her place of employment. Decades after her aunt’s disappearance, Carly decides to visit the motel, where she learns that nothing has changed in decades. As Carly finds herself ensnared in the same mysteries that claimed aunt Viv, they threaten to claim her too.
This event is free and seating is first come, first serve. To get a book signed during one of our events, a copy of the event book must be purchased through Mysterious Galaxy.
